- Eligibility Criteria: We accept returns and exchanges only for defective products. Defects may include issues with materials, workmanship, or functionality that significantly affect the product’s performance or usability. The warranty seal must still be intact and not broken for the warranty to be valid. Please note that general wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse are not considered eligible reasons for returns or exchanges. Please read more about our Device Warranty Coverage here.
- Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds for returned products. If the defect is covered under warranty, Gadgetry City will repair the device, replace (in case it’s non-repairable), or issue store credit. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the store credit.
- Timeframe for Returns: Customers must initiate a return or exchange request within 30 days of receiving the product. Requests made beyond this timeframe may not be accepted.
- Handling of Personal Data: Before returning a device, please ensure all personal data, including linked accounts and sensitive information, is securely erased. This includes but is not limited to Apple IDs, Google Accounts, PIN codes, and parental controls. We strongly recommend backing up your data before erasing it. Failure to reset the device may result in additional charges for unlocking and resetting.
- Return Request Process: To request a return or exchange for a defective product, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to hello@gadgetrycity.com with the following details:
- Order Number: Include the order number from your confirmation email.
- Photo of Defective Item: Attach a clear photo showing the defect, if applicable.
- Description of the Issue: Provide a brief description of the problem you’re experiencing with the product.
- One of our staff members will review your request and contact you with return instructions within 1-2 business days.
- Responsibility for Return Shipping: The device must be securely packed and returned in its original box. It should be in the same condition as when purchased, and includes all accessories it came with. Customers are initially responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. In the case of defective products, Gadgetry City will refund the return shipping costs.
- Timeline for Resolution: We strive to process returns and exchanges promptly. Upon receiving the returned item, our technicians will diagnose the issue and work towards a resolution. You can expect a response and resolution within 2-3 business days of receiving the returned product.
