Services Offered Gadgetry City sells second-hand smartphones and tablets. Each device undergoes a rigorous 80-point diagnostic test and data wipe using advanced technology, certified by major industry accreditations including ADISA. 4. User Responsibilities 4.1 Expectations for User Behavior Users are expected to use the website in a lawful and respectful manner. This includes:

• Providing accurate information during account creation and transactions.
• Respecting intellectual property rights and the privacy of others.
• Using the website only for its intended purposes.

4.2 Prohibited Activities Users are prohibited from:

• Engaging in any illegal activities.
• Misusing the website, including hacking, phishing, or spreading malware.
• Using the website to distribute unsolicited advertising or spam.

5. Account Information

5.1 Account Creation and Maintenance To create an account, users must provide accurate and complete information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms. 5.2 Information Required for Account Registration Users must provide the following information during registration:

6. Ordering and Payment

6.1 Ordering Process

1. Create an account.
2. Search for the desired item.
3. Select the model, color, and storage options and add to cart.
4. Complete the checkout process with your preferred payment method.

6.2 Payment Methods We accept payments through a secure gateway (Xendit) using:

• Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard)
• Direct Debit (BPI, UnionBank, RCBC)
• eWallets (Grabpay, Maya)
• Buy Now Pay Later (Billease – 3 months)

6.3 Pricing and Billing Prices may change without prior notice. All transactions are billed in Philippine Pesos (PHP).

Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Shipping Methods and Policies We use LBC for shipping. Shipping fees are according to LBC rates. 7.2 Delivery Times

• Metro Manila: 2-3 business days
• Greater Metropolitan Area: 3-5 business days
• Luzon: 5-7 business days
• Visayas and Mindanao: 7-10 business days

7.3 Delivery Failures and Incorrect Addresses If a package is returned due to incorrect address or delivery failure, users will be responsible for additional shipping costs.

8. Return and Exchange Policy

1. Eligibility Criteria: We accept returns and exchanges only for defective products within one month after the order is received. Defects may include issues with materials, workmanship, or functionality that significantly affect the product’s performance or usability. The warranty seal must still be intact and not broken for the warranty to be valid. Please note that general wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse are not considered eligible reasons for returns or exchanges. Please read more about our Device Warranty here.
2. Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds for returned products. If the defect is covered under warranty, Gadgetry City will repair the device, replace (in case it’s non-repairable), or issue store credit. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the store credit. Please note that any replacement parts, shall at our absolute discretion, be new, original or non-original manufacturer’s parts that conform to factory specifications.
3. Timeframe for Returns: Customers must initiate a return or exchange request within 30 days of receiving the product. Requests made beyond this timeframe may not be accepted.
4. Handling of Personal Data: Before returning a device, please ensure all personal data, including linked accounts and sensitive information, is securely erased. This includes but is not limited to Apple IDs, Google Accounts, PIN codes, and parental controls. We strongly recommend backing up your data before erasing it. Failure to reset the device may result in additional charges for unlocking and resetting.
5. Return Request Process: To request a return or exchange for a defective product, please follow these steps:

• Send an email to hello@gadgetrycity.com with the following details:
  • Order Number: Include the order number from your confirmation email.
  • Photo of Defective Item: Attach a clear photo showing the defect, if applicable.
  • Description of the Issue: Provide a brief description of the problem you’re experiencing with the product.
• One of our staff members will review your request and contact you with return instructions within 1-2 business days.

6. Responsibility for Return Shipping:  The device must be securely packed and returned in its original box. It should be in the same condition as when purchased, and includes all accessories it came with. Customers are initially responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. In the case of defective products, Gadgetry City will refund the return shipping costs.
7. Timeline for Resolution: We strive to process returns and exchanges promptly. Upon receiving the returned item, our technicians will diagnose the issue and work towards a resolution. You can expect a response and resolution within 2-3 business days of receiving the returned product.
8. Accessories: Second-hand devices do not come with original accessories. We may include non-OEM freebies such as a charger adapter or cable, but we strongly recommend purchasing original Apple accessories for optimal performance. Please note that these freebies are not covered by our warranty.

9. Gadgetry Care

Every Gadgetry City device comes with a free 1-month warranty. Upgrade to Gadgetry Care and extend your coverage to 12 months — plus enjoy free tempered glass and a clear case.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the website is owned by Gadgetry City Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not use this content without permission.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our website, you consent to our data practices.

12. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Gadgetry City Inc. harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their use of the website or violation of these Terms.

This limitation of liability applies to various scenarios, including but not limited to: (1) the inability to use the platform; (2) costs incurred in procuring substitute goods or services; (3) unauthorized access to user transmissions or data; (4) statements or conduct of third parties on the platform; or (5) any other matters related to the platform, whether based on warranty, copyright, contract, tort (including negligence), product liability, or any other legal theory.

We reserve the right to terminate your account and access to our website for any violation of these Terms or any illegal activities. Upon termination, your right to use our website will immediately cease.

• If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
